Sean O'Driscoll has today been appointed as Nottingham Forest’s new manager.
After weeks of speculation O’Driscoll is to leave League One club Crawley Town and join Championship club Nottingham Forest.
Recently parting with the services of Steve Cotterill the Reds have turned to O’Driscoll, a character with plenty of managerial experience in the Championship.
Forest have recently appointed new owners also, as Kuwaiti family Al-Hasawi have bought the club.
Owners stated Sean was the best man for the job, as a man who spent five months on Forest’s coaching staff last season.
Majority shareholder Fawaz Al-Hasawi told a Sky Sports, "We interviewed many well-known and high profile figures but none of them impressed us as much as Sean O'Driscoll
"Sean's passion for Nottingham Forest, knowledge of the game and the Championship in particular, plus his work ethic, shone through in our conversations.
The new owners also said, "He(Sean) is hugely respected, not only by members of our current squad and staff at the Club for his work in helping transform our fortunes last season, but also within the wider football community."
